John is Managing Director and Lead Trainer at The Medication Training Company (previously called Prescription Training).

John has been a pharmacist for 30 years, having worked across all sectors: community, academia, hospital, and the pharmaceutical industry.

He has published 5 books on Managing Medicines in Social Care Settings and trained tens of thousands of nurses and care support workers in medicines management and administration over the last 16 years.

John has worked for many years with several councils and private organisations both large and small to set up systems to manage (and learn from) medication errors.
