Steve Hook is the Director of Adult Social Care and the DASS in Brighton & Hove City Council. Steve has over 30 years’ experience of leadership and management in Adult Social Care and Health across several local authorities in the Southeast. With a passion for addressing inequality both for people with disabilities and the social care workforce, prior to taking his position in Brighton & Hove, Steve was Director of Learning Disabilities & Autism and Adult Social Care Workforce Lead in Surrey County Council. He is current chair of the Learning Disability and Neurodiversity Network for Southeast ADASS.
