Rian is the Lead Nurse for Independent Health and Social Care (South East) at the Royal College of Nursing. His role broadly involves engaging with and promoting the contribution of nursing in the independent health and social care sectors. Prior to joining the RCN, Rian led an adult social care inspection team at the Care Quality Commission and more recently worked within the social care group at the Department of Health and Social Care.
